My path into language started with translation and that taught me something simple: language isn’t just grammar, it’s meaning, context, and how differently people process the same words.
Teaching learners of every age, from middle schoolers to adults in business and accounting English, showed me exactly where that theory meets reality.
I learned to:
- spot exactly where learners get stuck,
- design materials that actually stick, not just cover content,
- adapt for very different needs, ages, and goals.
That’s how English by Corgi came to be: teaching experience, linguistic expertise, and rigorous design all in materials you can trust and use right away, whether you’re a teacher, a parent, or an independent learner.
